Best Practices

1. Start light: Don’t turn everything to the max right away. See how your chat behaves and tighten the rules gradually.
2. Announce the rules: Use Timers (see the Timers manual!) to announce periodically: “Posting links without permission is not allowed”.
3. Review the word list: Sometimes a common word may contain a banned word inside it (e.g., banning “ass” might block “class”). Bearry tries to be smart, but watch out for short words.
