Troubleshooting (FAQ)

Auto Mod is not deleting messages:

1. Permission: The Bearry bot NEEDS to be a moderator of your channel on Twitch. Type /mod BearryBot (or your bot’s name) in the Twitch chat.
2. Global: Check if the “Global AutoMod” button is on.
3. Conflict: If you use other bots (Nightbot, Streamelements), check if they aren’t trying to moderate the same thing, which can generate duplicate error messages.

Auto Mod banned someone by mistake:

• As a moderator/streamer, you can type /unban username in the chat to remove the ban immediately.
• Review your rules to prevent it from happening again.
