Creating a Webhook on Discord

Before touching Bearry, we need to get the access “key” for your Discord channel.

  1. Open Discord (PC or Web).
  2. Go to your server and choose the Text Channel where clips should appear (e.g., #clips, #highlights).
  3. Click the gear icon (Edit Channel) next to the channel name.
  4. In the left sidebar menu, click on Integrations.
  5. Click on Webhooks.
  6. Click on New Webhook.
  7. Webhook Configuration on Discord:
    • Name: Give the bot a name (e.g., “Bearry Clips”).
    • Avatar: You can put the Bearry logo or your photo.
    • Channel: Confirm it is in the right channel.
  8. Click the Copy Webhook URL button.
    • The URL looks like this: https://discord.com/api/webhooks/123456789/abcdef...
    • Save this URL! You will need it in the next step.
