Adding Games

Bearry doesn’t guess every game in the world. It has a list of Known Games.

  • Native: Popular games like League of Legends, Valorant, CS2, Minecraft, and Fortnite come pre-configured.
  • Custom: You can add any other game or program manually.

Want Bearry to detect that indie game or a specific emulator? Follow these steps:

  1. Click on “Add Game”.
  2. Fill in the fields:
    • Name: What you call the game (e.g., “Elden Ring”).
    • Process Name (Executable): It is the name of the .exe file running in Task Manager.
      • Tip: Open the game, open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), right-click on the game -> Properties. There you see the exact name (e.g., eldenring.exe).
    • Twitch Category: The exact name of the category on Twitch (e.g., “Elden Ring”). Bearry uses this for automatic updates.

Sometimes, the process name is weird (e.g., javaw.exe for Minecraft). In these cases, Bearry also looks at the Window Title.

  • If you configure the game to detect “Minecraft”, it will find any window that has “Minecraft” in the title (e.g., “Minecraft 1.20.1”).
  • This is useful for emulators (e.g., detecting “RetroArch” or “Yuzu” by the window title instead of the process).
